  • 12 ounces fully cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 8 ounces crabmeat, fresh or imitation, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 baguette, sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Add the shrimp, crabmeat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice to a 12-inch cast iron skillet or a 9x13-inch baking dish. Gently mix until everything is well combined.
  • Sprinkle the panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top, then dot the surface with the butter.
  • Bake for 23 minutes, then turn the oven to broil and cook for about 2 more minutes, watching carefully, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm with sliced baguette for dipping.

Note

If using canned crab, go light on the added salt. For frozen shrimp, thaw and pat dry to maintain dip thickness.
