Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 F. Lightly grease your baking dish or just line it with foil for easier cleanup.
  • Slice the whole slab of rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish. Spread a thin layer of marinara over the rolls.
  • Layer your meats: ham first, then salami, and pepperoni if using.
  • Add the cheese on top.
  • Sprinkle banana peppers or pepperoncini on top if desired.
  • Add a little more marinara if you want, then place the top half of the rolls on.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic, and Parmesan. Brush or spoon it over the tops of the sliders.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 3 to 6 minutes until the tops are lightly golden.
  • Let them sit for about 5 minutes before cutting to allow the cheese to settle.

Note

These sliders can be made ahead of time and cooked when ready. For best results, avoid overloading with sauce inside the rolls. Serve with warm marinara for dipping and a side salad for a complete meal.
