Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Butter For richness in the sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey Sticky sweet part
  • 1/4 cup Hot sauce Your favorite brand
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar Or lemon juice to cut the sweetness
  • Red pepper flakes or cayenne Optional for extra heat

Preparation

  • Heat your oven to 425 F. Put a wire rack on a sheet pan.
  • Pat the wings very dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, toss wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder. Spread wings in a single layer on the rack.

Cooking

  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are deep golden brown.
  • While the wings bake, melt butter in a small pot on low heat. Stir in honey, hot sauce, and vinegar. Keep warm.
  • Once wings are done, move them to a bowl and toss with the sauce until glossy.
  • For extra sticky wings, return them to the oven for 5 minutes after tossing.
