  • If using cooked rice, combine the cooked rice, sauce, and veggies in a bowl first, then transfer to the baking dish and top with chicken.

Baking

  • Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 45-55 minutes if using uncooked rice, or 20-25 minutes if using cooked rice.
  • Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the rice is tender.
  • Uncover the dish, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to melt and slightly brown the cheese.

Serving
